Data, processing purpose and legal basis

Client data or supplier data is the data we need to ensure the processing of a contract. We store such data if and insofar as this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing, to maintain technical operational security and for invoicing and collection, or to carry out pre-contractual measures. As a rule, the following data is collected, for example: Name, first name, address, e-mail address, contact person, telephone number and language. They may vary depending on the service claimed.

Furthermore, we process the data that arise in the context of the use of the website (www.wab-group.com including any country versions, domain or subdomain variants) or the data that are provided in this context. The data processing is carried out in order to analyze the internet traffic of our website and to improve the functionality of our website. The processing of the data is necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

Likewise, we consequently use personal data that are required for a complete application and its processing. As a rule, the following data are collected, surname, first name, addresses, language, e-mail address, the information from the CV and other documents (e.g. certificates). We use the applicant data for the purpose of the application process. In principle, the applicant data will not be used further.

Further use of the data only takes place with additional information and consent of the person concerned or the supplier.

Use of cookies for functional purposes

When using the website, personal data may be collected by means of cookies and Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Web Font. Furthermore, personal data is collected when contacting us by e-mail.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

Cookies

We use "cookies" and similar technologies on our websites to identify your browser or device. A cookie is a small file that is sent to your computer or automatically stored on your computer or mobile device by the web browser you use when you visit our website. In addition to cookies that are only used during a session and deleted after your website visit ("session cookies"), cookies can also be used to store user settings and other information for a certain period of time (e.g. two years) ("permanent cookies"). However, you can set your browser to reject cookies, store them for one session only, or otherwise delete them early. Most browsers are preset to accept cookies. We use persistent cookies so that we can better understand how you use our offerings and content.

However, in the settings of your browser, you can arrange for cookies to be blocked or for you to be warned when cookies are sent to your computer. If you disable the receipt of cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of our website (such as voice dialing).

Tracking and other technologies related to the use of our website

We also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on our websites. This is a third party service that allows us to evaluate the use of the website (non-personal) Exhibitions . Permanent cookies are also used for this purpose, which are set by the service provider. The service provider does not receive any personal data from us (and does not keep any IP addresses), but it can track your use of the website, combine this information with data from other websites you have visited that are also tracked by the service provider, and use this knowledge for its own purposes (e.g. controlling advertising). Google Analytics provides us with information about the number of visitors to the website, from where the visitors log in and how long they stay on our website. If you have registered with the service provider yourself, the service provider also knows you. The processing of your personal data by the service provider then takes place under the responsibility of the service provider in accordance with its data protection regulations. The service provider only informs us how our respective website is used (no information about you personally). You can prevent the transmission of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link.

DISABLE TRACKING

This page uses so-called web fonts to display the font. These are provided by Google (http://www.google.com/webfonts/). To do this, your browser loads the required web font into your browser cache when you call up our page. This is necessary so that your browser can also display a visually improved representation of our texts. If your browser does not support this function, a standard font from your computer will be used for display.

Third party services

Within our online offer, we use content or service offers from third-party providers in order to integrate their content and services, such as fonts. This always requires that the third-party providers of this content are aware of the IP address of the user, since without the IP address they could not send the content to their browser. The IP address is thus required for the display of this content. We endeavor to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content.

We also use a so-called "Content Delivery Network" (CDN), offered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. A CDN is a service with the help of which content of our online offer, in particular large media files, such as graphics or scripts are delivered more quickly with the help of regionally distributed servers connected via the Internet. User data is processed solely for the aforementioned purposes and to maintain the security and functionality of the CDN.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the data you enter there (for example, first name, last name, address, e-mail address), will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus based exclusively on your respective consent.

Recipients and duration of storage

Unless expressly stated below, your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the aforementioned data will be stored for as long as is necessary for the provision of the current service, but at least for as long as is required by law. Subject to the right to delete the data, the data may also be stored for as long as this appears useful for the possible provision of future services or if explicit consent has been given.

Rights of the data subject

Every person has the right to information, correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion of their data, as long as this does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data or the data is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of a contract.

In addition, data subjects have the right to object at any time to processing based on consent given or the legitimate interests of us.

For questions, modification, revocation and deletion, please contact the data protection officer directly:

Complaint to the supervisory authority and data security

Data subjects have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority if they consider that the processing of their personal data is not lawful.

We maintain up-to-date technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect personal data from risks during data transmissions and from third parties gaining knowledge. These are always adapted to the current state of the art.
