BEAD MILL FOR R&D

DYNO®-MILL RESEARCH LAB

Our smallest bead mill meets the special requirements of research departments. The first syntheses often produce only small amounts of product. Realistic grinding tests can become a challenge. This is exactly where DYNO®-MILL RESEARCH LAB offers solutions: From as little as 100 ml suspension it delivers reproducible results! The small mill is easy to dismantle and quick to clean – ideal for carrying out series of tests.

Functionality

In the DYNO®-MILL RESEARCH LAB, a screw conveyor feeds the low to medium-viscosity suspension into the grinding cylinder.

The patented DYNO®-ACCELERATOR accelerates the grinding beads, ensures high energy input and ensures efficient grinding of the particles – if necessary in the range of less than 100 nm.

  1. Feed hopper 250 ml or 500 ml
  2. Product inlet
  3. Sealing housing for lip seal or double mechanical seal
  4. Screw conveyor
  5. DYNO® ACCELERATOR in hardened chrome alloy or zirconium oxide
  6. Coolable grinding container with grinding cylinder made of silicon carbide or zirconium oxide
  7. Cooling water inlet
  8. Cooling water outlet
  9. Grinding bead separation by means of flat screen with gap widths for use of grinding beads from 0.05 to 1.0 mm
  10. Product outlet

Features

DYNO®-MILL RESEARCH LAB

PRACTICAL AND EASY TO HANDLE

The uniqueness of the DYNO®-MILL RESEARCH LAB lies in its design:
The complete grinding region can be separated from the drive by loosening only three screws. The disassembled grinding region can then be dismantled very easily in a few simple steps.

This makes the cleaning process quick and easy. The separate grinding cylinder can be sterilized as a whole.

  • Small product batches from 100 ml for processing in continuous pass and circulation mode
  • Suitable for grinding beads of 0.05 to 1.0 mm diameter
  • High energy input
  • Particle fineness of less than 100 nanometres
  • Suitable for low to medium-viscosity suspensions
  • Ceramic version made of zirconium oxide/silicon carbide for metal-free processing
  • Very fast dismantling of the grinding unit
  • Easy cleaning of the grinding cylinder
  • The complete separated grinding unit can be sterilized
  • Patented grinding principle with DYNO®-ACCELERATOR
  • Narrowest particle size distribution
  • Easy to operate control concept
  • Process data acquisition (optional)
  • Low-noise operation with <65 dB(A)
