Compared to conventional batch tank processes, this reaction benefits from a lower viscosity of the feed stream and the absence of additional solvents.
Faster reaction
Compared to hydrothermal batch tank reactions, the process time is only 20 seconds instead of 4 to 5 hours.
Lower costs
As the process time is only a fraction of the time and the yield is 100 % in both the mechanochemical and batch-tank reactions, this is an extremely efficient method for producing zinc glycerolate.
Scalability
